Disc Golfers Gift Guide + Stocking Stuffer Ideas

Looking for the best gift ideas for the disc golfer in your life? Look no further! Here I’ll share my list of favorites, for a variety of disc golf gift ideas, in different price ranges!
When it comes to gifts, I personally love and appreciate the more functional kind. Anything that saves me money or can be put to regular use, is a win for me! I’m not a big fan of over-consumerism, so not only is this a list of great gifts…it’s a list of fully functional and useful gifts!
$100ish and up
We’re starting out strong with the hard hitters and big ticket items! These may be on the higher end of the price scale, but with price, comes quality! These high quality items are sure to wow whoever is on the receiving end of the deal!
- GRIPeq Disc Golf Backpacks + Duffel Bags
First up, we have the most important tool in my game (besides the discs of course), a GRIPeq bag! GRIPeq has been around since 2009 and has revolutionized the way we carry our discs! A quality bag isn’t just for the professionals, it’s an important tool for all skill-levels. Having a quality and comfortable bag can make such a huge difference during a round. GRIPeq bags are made to last and even come with a lifetime warranty, for any issues or manufacturing defects. I’ve had the pleasure of owning and using every size of bag they have, and can vouch for them all!
–MB-PX1: The biggest and baddest of them all! The MB-PX1 is an upgrade to the classic A-series! In collaboration with Paul McBeth, this bag features all upgraded storage and colors. The classic GRIPeq side pockets have been split into 4 different sections to allow more separation and easier access to your most used items! This model holds between 20-25 discs! For a more in-depth view, check out the link below!
Current Retail Price: $299 (take 10% off with code KELSIE10)
We also have the classic A, B, C and G-series GRIPeq bags!
-The A-Series is just as spacious as the MB-PX1, but is a more affordable option, without sacrificing size!
Current Retail Price: $179
-The B-Series is my personal favorite size-wise. Small enough to be a personal item on flights, but still sizable enough to fit all I need!
Current Retail Price: $149
-The C-Series is the smallest of the backpacks. It comes in the CX1 and the CS2. If you prefer to only carry minimal discs per round, this is definitely the backpack for you! It’s super lightweight and compact, without sacrificing quality!
Current Retail Price: $129 (CX1) $119 (CS2)
-The G-Series is geared towards the newer player but also makes a great bag for glow rounds, or juniors. It’s a shoulder bag that is perfect for just the essentials. It carries 8-12 discs, no-slip grip shoulder padding, and side pockets sizable enough for water bottles and other necessities. I’ve even used this bag as a purse for work! The perfect companion for short rounds or quick getaways.
Current Retail Price: $75

Last up on the GRIPeq list (but certainly not least) are the brand new duffel bags! Earlier in the year GRIPeq released 3 sizes and 4 styles of duffel bags, and they became an instant hit! While the backpacks are the perfect companion for the course, the duffel bags are the perfect accessory for everywhere in between! P.S. all of these bags are carry-on compliant!
-The Travel Sports Duffel is the largest of the duffel bags at 52L. It can accommodate discs, shoes, and even has a padded laptop pocket! It’s got ample storage for all of your sidequest needs! I’d taken mine camping, to the gym, and on planes. The MX-TSD1 (the Paul McBeth version of the TSD) is the perfect side accessory to the MB-PX1. You can color coordinate the two or mix and match.
Current Retail Price: $165 (MB-TSD1) $130 (TSD)
-The Ultimate Sports Duffel (42L) is made with ultimate players in mind, but is great for all! It is my personal favorite of the disc golf duffels. I love a good in-between size and this is it! I also love that it has convertible backpack straps to make it even more functional. I can throw my disc golf bag on my front and the Ultimate Sports Duffel on my back and go hands free through the airport. The backpackers dream combo!
Current Retail Price: $115
-The Disc Golf Duffel (22L) is the smallest of the duffels. This bag is great for daily use! It’s compact but spacious. It make the perfect grab and go bag or even a gym bag (my favorite use for it!)
Current Retail Price: $99
Plus code KELSIE10 saves 10% on all purchases at grip-eq.com!

- Disc Golf Carts

Next on the list of heavy hitters are carts! ZUCA cards are some of the most beloved accessories in the game! Carts are great for taking the load and strain off the back and shoulders! ZUCA carts range in price from around $200 to $400 depending on your style and size! My personal favorite cart is the EZ Cart which is a wheeled frame that I can easily slip my GRIPeq MB-PX1 on top of and roll around! Non–backpack carts are great options for those who rarely ever use a backpack! They offer ample storage, seating and all-terrain wheels for gliding across the course.
While ZUCA carts are likely the most popular in the game, they aren’t the only option! MVP makes a cart similar to the EZ Cart, but one that’s easier on the wallet!

Another type of cart that is increasing in popularity are the push carts, similar to the style you see on the ball golf course. Some people prefer to push their carts, and others pull. Whatever your preference, there is a cart for you!
Amazon Retail Price: $260
- Disc Golf Baskets

Next on the big ticket item list are baskets! A practice basket can be an incredibly useful tool, especially for those days you just don’t have time to make it to a course (or weather prevents it)! The MVP Black Hole Pro with Transit Bag and the Dynamic Discs Scout Basket are two of my favorite portable practice baskets! Also both of these are collapsible which are great options for travel or if storage space is limited!
Amazon Retail Price: $155
- Rangefinders

The Bushnell Edge Disc Golf Laser Rangefinder is an important tool to taking your game to the next level! Not only does it measurement distances but also elevation, slope and gives angle readings. There are many rangefinders on the market that can get the job done, but the Bushnell is supreme! However, if you just want basic distances…any rangefinder will get the job done!
Current Retail Price: $102
Less than $100
Now, shopping for your favorite disc golfer doesn’t have to be expensive or break the bank. Sure the big ticket items are great, but there are so many other less costly options! And lets be real, most dedicated disc golfers probably already have a lot of these items! So, below are some of my favorite items that I use in my disc golf life that don’t cost an arm and a leg, and might also surprise you (think outside of the box)!
- Discs: the most obvious on the list. You can never go wrong with getting a disc golfer discs (well you can but it’s the thought that counts right?!) But if you don’t know them well, maybe ask for suggestions on molds they might be in the market for, just so it’s something they can actually throw in regards to their skill level. There are a multitude of places you can shop for discs; your favorite local pro-shop or brand website. However my personal favorite these days is WhatNot! Many disc golfers including myself have started live streaming on there as a way to sell off extra discs we have. Not only has it become a great community, it also supports the smaller businesses and real people in the game! Below is an invite link for $15 off if you’re a new buyer on WhatNot! P.S. if you’re looking to sell discs on WhatNot, message me for a sellers referral link ($150 bonus potential)! *Shameless plug, sorry not sorry.* 🤣

- Apparel: if you look good, you feel good, and if you feel good, you play good! Some of my favorite disc golf apparel brands are Wander Disc Golf and Salty Unicorn! Both have some of the sickest looking jerseys in the game! I also love TJ Maxx around this time a year. I’ve found some of the cutest summery Tommy Bahama Golf outfits for a really good price!

- Custom Mini Markers: custom mini markers are one of my favorite items. Treasures of the Forest makes the most amazing mini markers using real pieces of nature cast in resin, that can be customized to your liking. Not your average $5 mini, but it’s one that will stand the test of time and intrigue everyone who sees it. You can also go with a Dynamic Discs Dyemax where they can print just about anything imaginable on a mini marker.

- ShesBirdie: protection for on and off the course. Anyone can use a little extra protection but especially the women and juniors. ShesBirdie is a personal alarm that can be attached to a bag, keys or carried. One quick pull and it produces a high pitched alarm.
- A PDGA Membership: because it’s officially renewal season! Whether your favorite disc golfer is a potential new member, or a seasoned vet. A PDGA membership is a great way to save them money all season long, and gives them a visual timeline of their events, rating changes and wins.

Stocking Stuffers:
Many of the above are stocking sized also, but here’s a few more inexpensive ideas to really fill it up!
-Hand warmers: tis the season! Winter is upon us and there’s no better stocking filler than hand warmers! Whether it’s rechargeable electric hand warmers or the classic disposable, you can’t go wrong!

-Fatty Pack: fatty pack is a fanny pack for your hat (or bra, backpack strap, dog collar, etc.) It’s a small trip-f-old pocket that gives you a hands-free way to carry your essentials. It can fit cash, medicines, SD cards, matches, etc.

-Layout Disc Golf glow lights: nothing says winter like glow golf. Sure glow tape can work, but Layout Disc Golf glow lights are next level. With a strong adhesive on the back, and multi-functional LED lights…finding your discs in the dark is now easier than ever! Not to mention they look awesome flying through the air!
-Custom Rubber Stamp: give the gift of personal branding! Does your disc golfer have their own logo, or brand? If not, maybe hire an artist to create them one! Then order a custom rubber stamp so they can easily stamp their discs with it! It’s easier to recognize and looks more professional than just using a sharpie (especially if you have terrible hand writing like I do), and makes a statement. It’s also much harder for those who don’t attempt to return found discs, to cover a stamp on the bottom or top of the disc, than it is to mark out sharpie on the rim. So maybe a better chance at getting your discs returned?! No guarantee but it’s worth a shot, if you’re like me and sacrifice a few too many to Poseidon with no way to get them back myself.

-TeeBox Sox: socks for disc golfers! They have a ton of different designs and you can even order custom ones!
-Travel Sized First Aid Kit: you know, when the rough gets a little too rough.
-Electrolyte Packets: because you can never be too hydrated! My favorite brand is Taste Salud! Mexican inspired and flavored electrolyte packets. They have everything from Jamaica, to Tamarind. Honorable mention also to LiquidIV (the most well known of course) and LMNT!
-Snacks: everyone loves snacks. Protein packed snacks like Big Country Beef Jerky, are great for that mid round pick me up. Other good options are packaged nuts, fruit bars and my favorite…any kind of gummy candy (unless it’s summer in Texas)!
-Gift Cards: not sure what to get someone? You can never go wrong with a gift card! Whether it’s to a pro-shop, online shop, or Amazon. A gift card is a great way to go to ensure whoever’s receiving the gift, gets exactly what they want!
-Random extras: disc golf pendants, Croc charms, stickers, custom ornaments, etc.
Of course the possibilities for gifts are endless but these are just a handful of my favorite disc golf items and necessities! Let me know if you add any to your list, or if I missed anything you think I should add!
Happy Holidays and Happy Discing!
